Our residents are our valued guest and we work hard to create a homelike environment. Each room is furnished with built-in cabinets and wardrobes, wall mounted cable televisions. Our dual occupancy rooms are spacious and each have private bathroom and showers.

Shinnery Oaks Community has a relaxing and beautiful garden patio area, with a large gazebo for family and community events. Resident and guest wireless internet access is offered throughout the facility.

Family time is important to our residents. That is why we have multiple living areas for gatherers small and large. These can be reserved for special events.

Nursing Services: Shinnery Oaks is committed to Caring and Healing. Our dedicated and skilled nursing staff provide the high level of nursing care in an atmosphere that is centered around our residents, their families, and focuses on expanding the world of each resident. Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants provide skilled care as well as assistance with getting in and out of bed, feeding, bathing, and dressing.

Rehabilitation Services: Our rehab team works with our residents to meet their health goals as quickly and efficiently as possible. Under the direction of our medical providers, Shinnery Oaks provides physical, occupational, and speech therapists. We provide customized care plans, with involvement of the resident and their family.

Activities: Each resident is unique, and we strive to expand the world of each resident. By listening to the needs of our residents, and their families, we create opportunities to enrich lives. We offer numerous activities, both group and individual. We also have regularly scheduled outings to the community and surrounding areas.
